How God Removes the Idols in Our Lives with Cliff Barna
How does God remove the idols from our lives? For Cliff Barna, a former college standout and professional arena football player, football was his idol. In his fencepost story, Cliff tells the story about how God miraculously removed the idol of football from his life.
Cliff Barna was raised in Ocala, FL and came to Tennessee as a student and athlete at Bethel University, where he ultimately earned a Master’s in Education and was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame.
After playing professional arena football, Barna was an assistant football coach at Bethel University. Additionally, he was the Senior Pastor at Tusculum Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Nashville, TN.
Currently Cliff teaches economics at Liberty Creek High School in Nashville, where he also coaches football and wrestling.
